"Airlock Guard" by Adrian Bourne, copyright © 1985 This serigraph (silkscreen print) is part of my robot/space collection of prints. I was aiming for a retro or pulp style of illustration with this series. The limited color scheme is inspired by 1940's and 1950's two tone interior book illustrations. Airlock Guard is meant to look like a panel lifted from a graphic novel. The renowned illustrator and designer Moebius was the inspiration for the robot and background. This piece symbolizes protection of secrets.  It would probably hang best away from any secret place.
